Harlem Shake v3 (Timeout Edition)

“Gangnam Style” yesterday, “Harlem Shake” today — and we’re doing it! With the exception of 1 guy, the first part of these “Harlem Shake” videos are dead-pan serious. The second part is where things get out of control and interesting! Here’s our take on the latest internet meme. Check it out!

Shoulders, Lats, and Back Day at the Gym

For over 2 years now, I’ve been consistently going to the gym and working out about 5 (sometimes 6) days a week. Although I’ve made some good muscular gains, I don’t have the definition I’d like so I’m changing my routine and starting a new diet plan for the beginning of 2013. To help me reach my goals, I’m recording myself when I workout so I can review the video footages to work on my form and track my progress. Today was shoulders, lats, and back day. Taking video in the gym takes up a little bit of time so I didn’t get every exercise in, but this is a good glimpse of what I do in the gym.

If you’re a “fitness freak” and can provide good pointers, please do so by either commenting on this blog post or on my YouTube channel where this video is posted. Let me know what you think of the video. Thanks for watching, and please subscribe!

Mienja T-shirt Giveaway WINNER!!

And we have a winner! A few weeks ago, I announced a t-shirt giveaway where my YouTube subscribers would be entered into a drawing for a free Mienja T-shirt. Our vacation was busier than we expected so I didn’t have time to do the drawing until just a couple days ago. With help from my daughter, we found a winner! Congratulations to my YouTube channel’s subscriber! If you want to find out who the winner is, you’ll have to watch the video!

*I shot the video on Saturday the 6th but couldn’t get online to upload so the deadline is a day later than what I mentioned in the video

iOpener – Apple Power Brick Is A Bottle Opener!

For the longest time, I thought my Macbook Pro’s power “brick” was unnecessarily big and useless. Unlike other power cables, this “brick” is so big, it sticks out of the electrical outlet about 4 inches if you don’t use its extension. That’s far enough for any unsuspecting passerby to potentially kick it out of the socket and break the brick. This brick really seemed useless—until I came across a blog on Cult of Mac. The blog talked about opening up a bottle with the Macbook Pro or iPad power “brick,” so I gave it a try—success! I love my power brick now! All you have to do is take off the part that plugs into the socket and you have yourself a bottle opener! The post on Cult of Mac doesn’t have a video so I thought I’d make my own. Here it is:
