CHAOTIME Videos

Making videos has always been a passionate hobby of mine but, until recently, I haven’t made the time to shoot anything. Since late last year, I have made it a point to dedicate more time to making videos. I’ve posted a few recent videos below but if you’d like to see more, please check out my YouTube channel and subscribe!

“FAIL HURTS” is a series of little funny skits about what could hurt you. But it doesn’t hurt to subscribe to my YouTube channel! Bloopers at the end and a major dunk fail!

“The Chase Begins” is about guy who drinks some “illoosiv beer” and thinks he has powers of invisibility. By chance, he escapes his pursuer. I put some bloopers at the end.

“CHAO TIMES MORE” is a just a promotional piece for my YouTube channel. I also love special effects so I used a masking technique in Adobe After Effects to clone and multiply myself.

Holiday Cards

Whew! The madness in getting these holiday cards done and out on time is finally over! It was a frantic scramble all week as I was designing, modeling, animating, and testing all at once! And for 3 separate cards! Below are brief descriptions for each card.

Transcore: 3.5MB
A truck rolls through a little town, back to its headquarters at Transcore. The animated clouds, snowflakes, traveling truck, and the rock holiday theme make this card a fun one to watch.

CHAOTIME: 5.6MB
Bored during the holidays, my little character switches the music to something a little more upbeat and dances. Pretty entertaining, even if I do say so myself. Check it out!

OakTree Digital: 2.3MB
OTD opted for a simpler holiday card this year, plugging Willamette Week’s non-profit donation website – Give!Guide. Even though the card is simple and straight-forward, its message encourages giving during this time of year.

Let me know which one your favorite is!

Arbor Homes Commercial: Final

Here’s the final Arbor Homes commercial! The differences in this final version and the one I posted in a previous blog are the video footages used and the music track. Cleaner footage and finalized music makes a big difference!

This clip is almost 9MB so if you’re not seeing it right away, it’s probably still downloading so please be patient.

Constructive feedback always welcome =)

[edit] I moved the commercial to its own page so this homepage loads faster. Click here to view the commercial.

New Commercial Spot

Wow, I’ve been busy in the last week! I just recently completed a motion graphics project that will be aired on TV some time in the near future! The client, Arbor Homes, approached me about creating a 30 second commercial that would feature their new web site’s Design Center and Virtual Tour. Needless to say, it was a lot of fun even though we were under the gun in terms of the deadline and worked till the wee hours the night before we had to hand it over.

Click here for a sneak peek at the commercial.  If you’re on a slow connection, please be patient and let it load. If it’s a little clunky on playback, let it load completely and replay it for a smoother experience. Hope you like it. Look for it when it airs on a TV near you!
