Downtown Camas Interactive Map

My employer, OakTree Digital, just launched a freshly redesigned Downtown Camas web site, featuring an interactive map of the area. With a limited budget, I took an existing map and added interactive areas such as store details that “pop up” when you mouseover any store on the map. Details include a brief description of the store, its web site address, and a picture of the store exterior.

Another cool map feature (on a limited budget) is the ability to sort the stores by type.

Check out the map here.

Bank of Clark County

The brand-new Bank of Clark County web site is up, featuring a banner that I created using Flash and XML. With an XML “backend” for Flash, clients can update the contents of their banner(s) or animations without touching Flash at all. They don’t even need to know how to use Flash! All they need to do in order to make updates is edit the XML file with a text editor like notepad. Check out the banner at the Bank of Clark County web site! The Bank of Clark County is a client of my employer, OakTree Digital.

Community Association Partners

The Community Association Partners’ (CA Partners) web site is a project from a little while ago that I haven’t highlighted yet so I thought I’d talk about a few things I did for them. This company, CA Partners, is a homeowner’s association management company that needed a fresh new face and asked for my assistance in design and development. They required a simple site that is user/eco-friendly and portrays their long-term sustainability. The idea of “transparency” or “no hidden agenda” was also important. Using Google Analytics, I also provided some assistance in SEO (Search Engine Optimization) to help boost their rankings.
